An idyllic rural retreat for all the family nestling in the rolling hills and valleys of the South Hams, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The rural hamlet of Devon cottage, Belsford Court, is close to the pretty village of Harberton with its 13th cent Church House Inn serving great beers and food, and its historic church and buldings.
We are centrally located for access to the historic towns of Totnes (10 mins by car): voted one of the world's top 10 funkiest towns by British Airways and the capital of new age chic in Time magazine, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Modbury. Explore the
wonderful coastline at Blackpool Sands, Bantham and Bigbury. Walk the Yealm, Erme, Avon, Salcombe/Kingsbridge and the Dart estuaries and the wild open spaces of Dartmoor National Park. Enjoy the sea side fun of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Close by are Plymouth and Exeter. There are numerous other picturesque villages, pubs, restaurants attractions and places to visit within the surrounding area.
We are at the end of the lane: 'Heaven in Devon'. No passing traffic only tractors, sheep, cows, horses and an abundance of
wildlife, over looking the peace and tranquillity of the Harbourne Valley and open countryside. The six cottages are within traditional Devon stone barns arranged around a central courtyard and converted to a high standard set within 3.5 acres of private grounds including a stream, wild flower meadow, copse and picnic area. Facilities include indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, games room, children's play/games areas and barbecue.
We are open all year round and short breaks and rest and relaxation weekends are available in the spring and autumn.
